I needed a replacement cord for my iPhone because I was using it while it was plugged in, which caused the cord to split and fray. I didn't want to pay the outrageous prices they wanted at retail stores. The price for this wall charger, including shipping, is less than half than the one I almost picked up at Best Buy. It's not a name brand item but I'm liking it more than the Apple cord/ac adapter that came with my iPhone. It's actually longer so now I can easily use my phone while it's charging, yay!

I recently purchased this supposed iPhone 3g chager from bargaincell after having purchased numerous "discount" iPhone chargers for work/home/etc, most of which make the phone appear to be in "charge" mode, but never add any charge even after hours plugged in (I tried numerous outlets at home and work BTW).

One effective charger I do have at home appears similar to the one pictured in this ad. After seeing some positive reviews I figure this was a good bet and purchased one. Unfortunately, the charger sent was different than pictured and the same style that I already owned 3 of in my junk drawer at home.

IF you receive the pictured charger you may have good luck from this seller, but I did not receive the item advertised from this seller. I am requesting a refund and will update the quality of return policy when I hear back, but for now buyer beware. You may not receive a charger capable of charging your iPhone. I cannot attest to whether or not this other charger will charger iPods and other devices.

*A note to other reviewers, please make sure the charger you review actually charges your iPhone. It seems that many can trigger the phone to think it's charging, but few actually charge the phone.

Received product timely. There was a 4G sticker on the charger, but I figured it would fit my 3G phone anyway since that is what was advertised. It did not fit and since I didn't pay much I threw it in the garbage.

Basically, this charger doesn't work with Verizon's iPhone! I bought 2 and they both didn't work. Went to the store and bought a Verizon brand iPhone charger and it worked fine.

A great charger for under five dollars. Works better than the apple ones and has a longer cord *around five feet).

Bought it as a gift for a friend, it broke in a week. Don't buy.

This is an excellent changer with a nice look and feel. Does not appear cheaply made like other inexpensive chargers out there. Works on my Nano G4 and iPhone 3G. A great value!

Got three of these perky pups for the family's triad of 3GS's... they're dirt cheap relative to their official counterparts and function as advertised--well, at least over the two months we've owned them! My only complaint is minor--the power LED is a bit bright at night in the bedroom--an easy fix with a skosh o' duct tape a la 'Mac'Guyver (tape on the *charger*, not my eyes, silly (heh, heh))!

This thing is cheap in both senses of the word. I use this as a charger at my bedside at home, so I never traveled with it or even moved it. Still broke down after 9 months. However, for $10 (incl. shipping), what could I expect?
