I dropped my iphone on to asphalt and completely shattered the back glass. This replacement back with housing is perfect. It even came with the necessary tool to do the job. I removed 2 screws, took off the cracked plate, put the new one on and fixed. You'd never know the difference. It is slightly different than the original oem one but you'd have to look reeeeaaaaally close to notice it. The 2 tiny differences were that the metal ring around the camera and the inside of the housing each look a TINY bit different. These do not effect the quality, function or fit in anyway. Only thing I would recommend is if you have to bring the phone in for repair at any time. Switch back to the cracked one so that the apple repair guys dont know you've opened it up because that does void the warranty. $100+ fix from apple vs this just as good $12(ship included) replacement. Highly recommended.

The back glass was an exact replacement for the one I broke. It fit perfectly and looks great. To get instructions, I submitted the Google search "how to replace back glass iphone 4" and watched a YouTube video. The job was completed in just a few minutes. The only problem was that the included screwdriver was too large for the screws. I had to grab my own jewelers screwdriver set to get one that fit these tiny screws. Except for this one small issue, I would have rated it a 5.

Although I was impressed by how closely it looked to the original back for my iPhone 4, it was clearly made of plastic and not glass. The screwdriver that was included was a T5 hex screwdriver and not the pentalobe one that was in the description. I'm returning it and ordering another replacement elsewhere.

I have bought two of these; the first one was about 6 months ago because my original iPhone's lense was all scratched up and I couldn't stand taking awful pictures anymore. It came with a complete tool kit which can also be used to open the 3G and 3Gs. The backplate fit perfectly.
The second backplate that I bought came with the only screwdriver needed to open the iPhone 4 but the backplate did not fit.
I own an iPhone 4 GSM.
I recommend buying this only if you cannot find any other backplates.

Received product on time and as described. Unfortunately, there are ATT (GSM) and Verizon (CDMA) specific rear plates. I did not realize this since a differentiation isn't listed on the product page. I contacted the seller and they provided great service and paid for return and offered replacement. The produce itself was exactly as described and seemed to be high-quality. Four stars for great service and great product (even though I returned it for a different one). Had the description listed "ATT only", it would have been a 5 star review.

BUYER BEWARE! The title of this product is absolutely false. The so called "Back Glass" is nothing but a cheap piece of plastic with the APPLE logo on the back and the stuff on the bottom. Again there is absolutely NO GLASS backing to this. Secondly, the so called "Tools" they send you are completely useless. The "tool" that I received was a very small looking screwdriver. However, the tool was way to large to fit into the extremely small iPhone screw that needs to be removed. I ended up barely getting one screw off and I stripping the other screw due to the garbage tool they send you. I have never written a review on AMAZON before because everything I have received in the past has been wonderful. This is a complete waste of money. I wouldn't pay a PENNY for this garbage. I can't believe some people have given this 5 Stars, perhaps I was sent something completely different because its a ZERO star in my book. Look for something else and stay away from this misleading ad title.

The iPhone camera lens had become scratched causing all pictures to be cloudy. Switching the back glass with this replacement was simple and took only seconds. The necessary star screwdriver was delivered with the order. Great product and the camera is operational once again!

I broke my iPhone by dropping it to hard floor. Well getting it fixed through Apple care is costly ($199). I ordered this as this is really cheap.
It is not as good quality as the original product. Also screws came with this case does not fits.

Decent part at a decent price. The screens may be made from aircraft grade glass, but the battery doors sure aren't. I accidentally dropped my iPhone 4 no more than 6 inches from the ground and cracked the case. Thankfully I was able to purchase a replacement at an awesome price. Thank you.

I don't know if it's the exact part from apple but it sure as hell looks and feels like it. Took under 5 min to remove the old back and replace it with the new one. 5 stars hands down.
