Reading this book is a must for iPod users. Most uses are thought to be limited to music and/or audiobooks, but a review takes it beyond. This book closely ties in with iTunes. It also demonstrates its use for photos, videos, calendars, schedules, address book, clock and stop watch; plus games, portable hard drive and others. It clearly explains how to install, amend and delete an entire playlist, plus direct shopping the iTunes store. Its chapter on maintenance, battery charging and preservation alone is a must read for iPod owners.i

Great book for the total iPod newbie. Will have you up and running in no time. I'm sure you can find all this same info on the Apple web site, but this book will save you hours of searching, plus I find it easier to read a book page than a computer screen. Guess I'm old school. Anyway, this book is worth the price and the time you will spend reading it.

Very good book for the novice iPOD and itunes user. Had answers to all the questions I had regarding iPOD touch I recently bought. Even showed me how to get pictures from my iPhoto files to the iPOD.

I order this manual hoping it would provide some detail on how to use an iPod Touch, and orient me to Apple products in general (this is my first Apple product). It has provided great information, in an easy to read and understandable format. It tells how to do all of the functions with an iPod both for PCs and for Apple computers, and makes it easy to understand. It covers everything that I think is possible to do with all iPod models. I would highly reccomend this book to anyone wanting information, tips, and instructions for an iPod.

If this were the only iPod book out there, it would be OK. For some reason, they apparently tried to save money on printing by using a very light, thin text. At first, I thought my eyes were going. It includes lots of good info, but you can do better with "The iPod Book," by Scott Kelby.

"The iPod Book" is a top-notch book with good pictures and good info. In addition, there is lots of subtle, and not so subtle, humor. It has about 80 more pages than the "Missing" book. You can't go wrong with this one.

Another excellent choice is "Ipod Fully Loaded." If you really want to learn how to get the most from your iPod, buy Kelby's book and the "Loaded" book.

When I got the book I opened it a random page and learnt something I didn't know about my Ipod straight away. This manual is concise and informative and a must have for any Ipod user.

Everyone who owns an Ipod needs this, I am much more confident with my Ipod, love it!

This is for sure the book that should have come with the ipod. Why is it you can buy a cell phone for $20.00 bucks, and it comes with a manual as thick as a phone book, and in eighteen different languages? But you buy an ipod for $249.00 bucks and you get squat, Come On Apple Quit Being Such Carps!

Good choice for information for the beginning user of an IPod. Covers most of the items any one would need to get up and running. As usual, it does not have everything each person would want, but comes close.
