The notebook cover is durable, and the rings hold up well. The paper is reasonable quality. The pockets in the back, however, are entirely useless. I don't understand the purpose of pockets in a notebook which won't hold even a single piece of paper. They're simply too narrow to be functional. I am further baffled as to why they are in the back of the notebook. Every pocket notebook I've ever used has the pocket(s) in the front. Given how much use notebook pockets tend to get, flipping through the book to access them seems wasted effort.

I can recommend this notebook if you already use a folder or 3-ring binder and therefore won't need a pocket. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

I absolutely love these binders! I am studying mathematics at a University right now, and every quarter I order a new one of these (3 or 5 subject depending on my course load). It's perfect for what I need. I scribble down my notes in class and then always rewrite my notes on colored loose leaf paper when I get home. I love how these notebooks have tabbed dividers so I can easily flip to the class section I need! My husband is studying History and Anthropology at the same university, and also uses these every quarter. Though the binding decided to pop off a bit with the last batch we had.. :(

It looked nice online but the received notebook is not as good. the paper quality is poor. plus you never know which color you will get.
