iRobot 80901 Brush Cleaning Tool for Roomba 500 Series

This item has worked as stated for cleaning the Roomba 500 brushes. It seems to be more difficult to get the brushes out than to clean them.

This tool does nothing. It is by far better to remove debris with your fingers. I found that this tool does not have a snug fit so dragging across the brush is useless. I do love my Roomba!

Just might be right for new brushes. Appears as it could be tighter, or smaller diameter. My fix would be to increase the cut-out slot. This way you can press it harder in order to clean difficult and deep hair on brushes.

Also, it needs additional features for brushes ends. That is the biggest problem with iRobot Brushes. Hair is packed in slots and sometimes presses brushes out of the seat. That region needs to be cleaned regularly. Right now I have to use knife or tweezers or similar.

the product works alright but not much better than a nail does to comb hair and other debris out of the brushes. had i known, i wouldn't have parted with my $10 for this thing that probably cost less than 10 cents to produce.

In order to keep the roomba working perfectly, you HAVE TO GET THIS. Getting that pesky hair off the brush is a nightmar, untill you use this. Trust me....get 1 of these
