I use this gadget all through the year, but at holiday time, it gets a workout with all that pumpkin pie and hot cocoa to name but a couple of things that beg for whipped cream. It's so easy to use--just pour in the cream, add a spoonful of powdered sugar to sweeten and replace the top. Shake a few times to distribute the sugar, then screw in an N2O cartridge in the included holder until the contents are released into the container. Shake a few more times, remove the charger and replace with the 'squirter' nozzle and there you are. You can take the whipped cream right along with the pie to someone else's house, ready to use. It transports well. It stores in the fridge for longer than you'd think--a couple of weeks, although who can go that long without using it up ;) and if you don't have time to wash out the container right away, just leave it in the fridge till you do. For some reason the dregs don't seem to sour in there.

Clean up is easy--in fact I find it easier with this push-button model than with the trigger models. I soak the top and gray 'squirter' nozzle in hot water with dish soup while I wash out the base, and then rinse those pieces with the spray head on my faucet, making sure to get the release valve clear, and that's it.

I love this thing and use it rather a lot--more than I should :). You can make other concoctions in it in addition to whipped cream, but I've not tried those. There are included recipes. I've used this model for three years with no signs of fatigue. It continues to work perfectly every time. It is one of my kitchen essentials. Everyone who sees me use it wants one and I've given several as gifts. Although I could certainly squirt a dollop of cream on each piece of pie, my guests are always eager to do their own. Everyone loves it.

I have been using this for some time now. You can really customize your whipped cream. I even made chocolate whipped cream. I find it works better if you only fill it up about 3/4 of the way with cream. It just seems to be more whipped and lighter that way.

One of my go-to gadgets for just about everything! The first time you use it, you'll go straight for the whipped cream - but once you see the results, you'll start finding new ways to use it. Add all kinds of flavorings to the cream, or, go in a completely different direction and use it for savory purposes too. I love that you control how much sugar (or other sweetener) is added, and that there's no oily, chemical aftertaste that you get with store bought whipped cream/whipped topping. Love doing yogurt/fruit puree mixtures, frothy hollandaise, cocktails, cream soups for cocktail parties...it's seriously a lot of fun. Keeps everything fresh in the fridge and clean up is quick and easy. Very well constructed - will last a long time!
