This whipper is flawless. The bottle is stainless steel and the top is a machined stainless steel casting. Easy to use, easy to clean and makes totally natural whipped cream if you can find heavy cream with no additives. Most heavy cream has additives but some don't.

The directions are hard to understand because they weren't written by an english speaker so here are a couple tips. Do not modify the whipper, it looks like there is an extra piece on the seal, that's there for removing the seal easily for cleaning. The valve pulls straight out. Take both these things out for cleaning.

I use it for chocolate whipped cream. 1/4c cocoa and 1/4c sugar. Mix them in as little cream as possible until the sugar is dissolved then add to the whipper and fill as usual with heavy cream.

There is NOTHING better than making fresh Creme Chantilly. Heavy whipping cream, and 1 small teaspoon of real Vanilla (don't put more or the entire thing will be BITTER) and a bit of organic sugar. This unit is absolutely phenomenal. No whipping, no mess, just fill it up with Heavy Whip cream (I like the Organic as it DOES taste better AND it stays in your refrigerator for like 3 months !) Press the button and instant PHENOMENAL whipping cream. Throw away the crap from the grocery stores (the aluminum cans) - what a difference. The taste is sublime. This is a great unit - strongly recommend it . I sometimes use Splenda instead of Sugar - you can tell the difference but nearly 0 carbs.

I like this brand, and have used them before in commercial settings. I bought the 1/2 pint size since I figured most of the time I would not need that much whipped cream and did not want to be wasteful...I know that the cream will not stay whipped for days and days. However! both the pint and half pint whippers use the same chargers and while that works perfectly for a larger amount of cream, it overwhips the cream in this size canister and it comes out rough, not smooth and creamy. Tastes great..just looks bad. Also, I have had serious issues keeping it charged. As soon as I charge it, all the excess gas leaks out. I can actually hear and feel it. SO no amount of cream lasts any amount of time in mine! Further, the first one I received was faulty. The cap that goes over the charger was jammed on at an angle and could not be removed...so no cream could be charged. Amazon took care of it and sent me a new one promptly, but geez it doesn't work very well either. Regret buying it as I almost never use it. Supposed to be more convenient, but actually just expensive and mostly useless.
