This whipper is flawless. The bottle is stainless steel and the top is a machined stainless steel casting. Easy to use, easy to clean and makes totally natural whipped cream if you can find heavy cream with no additives. Most heavy cream has additives but some don't.

The directions are hard to understand because they weren't written by an english speaker so here are a couple tips. Do not modify the whipper, it looks like there is an extra piece on the seal, that's there for removing the seal easily for cleaning. The valve pulls straight out. Take both these things out for cleaning.

I use it for chocolate whipped cream. 1/4c cocoa and 1/4c sugar. Mix them in as little cream as possible until the sugar is dissolved then add to the whipper and fill as usual with heavy cream.

There is NOTHING better than making fresh Creme Chantilly. Heavy whipping cream, and 1 small teaspoon of real Vanilla (don't put more or the entire thing will be BITTER) and a bit of organic sugar. This unit is absolutely phenomenal. No whipping, no mess, just fill it up with Heavy Whip cream (I like the Organic as it DOES taste better AND it stays in your refrigerator for like 3 months !) Press the button and instant PHENOMENAL whipping cream. Throw away the crap from the grocery stores (the aluminum cans) - what a difference. The taste is sublime. This is a great unit - strongly recommend it . I sometimes use Splenda instead of Sugar - you can tell the difference but nearly 0 carbs.

Bought this for a gift for a friend and had a hard time giving it up. I used one for a couple of weeks while on vacation and it's a far sturdier model than any other whipper I've seen. Beautifully constructed with a mirrored finish and easy-clean spout.

Does the job. Well built. If you want to do hot concoctions, buy a thermal one for another small wad of cash. I made a Chambord whip. Good, subtle stuff. Here's the recipe:

14 oz heavy cream

2 tbsp confection sugar

1 1/2 oz Chambord

Pour into whipper. Stir well. Add NO2. Shake like you mean it 3-5 times. Dispense on complimentary dish/drink. Enjoy. ;)

I was hesitant to spend so much on a kitchen whim but it was near the holidays and I decided to treat myself. I like real whipped cream and go through a lot of trouble to make it for desserts. This is an amazing tool in the kitchen. Now I can have whipped cream all the time and it does not go bad as fast. It really does what it says. Just wish it had cost a bit less, but it is a well constructed dispenser of high quality stainless steel so you do not feel that it is going to impart metal into your food. Would recommend it in a heart beat to anyone who loves really whipped cream.

This whipper is ideal for those who love whipped cream. It's easier and faster than beaters & bowl in freezer until chilled; whipping the cream at last minute or in advance and allowed to sit and degrade. I recommend to anyone who frequently uses whipped cream.

I bought this primarily for making whipped cream for my tea and coffee. I finally figured out I would save money by making my own and not buying RediWhip. I already had two iSi soda makers, so I knew this would be a quality product. I thought I could also experiment with heated preparations.

Although the information above says 'Create hot and cold...'. This is wrong; this gadget is for cold foods only; it specifically warns against using it for hot foods.

I'm not disappointed in the purchase. It does what I principally wanted it to do. I do feel misled a tad.

I love this whipper. It is the second one I have had but I have to admit I probably ruined my 1st one. They are made very well but have some tiny little pieces you have to be careful with. I would recommend this for anyone but it is especially nice for the person who has everything as they aren't as available as you would think. Fast shipping too!
