This is one of the most disappointing household purchases I've ever made; what's especially irritating is that this could have been a fantastic product. The only thing in its favor is that I picked it up for an incredibly low price. However, any dollar amount is too much to pay for a disappointment.
I was so struck by what appeared to be this board's functionality that I ordered three, including one for a friend. The photo and description would have you believe that nestled beneath the cutting board is a similarly sized tray that slides out and can be removed to use for serving if need be. What is actually the case is that the tray is not only less than half the size of the already smallish board, but that it almost immediately disengages from said board when it's pulled out. It holds almost nothing and for all intents and purposes is pretty much useless. (I suspect that the expression on my face when confronted with the ridiculous, toy-sized "tray" must have been priceless--I'm glad Candid Camera is no longer around.)
Possibly appropriate as an item for a child's play house; other than, don't waste your money.
