This heavy duty cable doubles as my connection for my iPhone and my Inno through my AUX connector in the car. There ls no feedback, no static, no problem! It's an excellent cable!

Not really much to review here. It is exactly what it says it is - and works. I was impressed that the cable is thicker than what I expected (about 2x a standard USB cable). It makes the cat less inclined to chew on it.

Nothing bad to say about this lovely cable. The jacks are nicely put together and fit well. The cable seems well shielded and has nice construction quality. I have a few of these to hook various devices up together and the work very well.

FYI,
This review is from: iSimple ISVE913 3.5mm Mini Male to 3.5mm Jack (Electronics)
Its just a cable; And has nothing to do with sound "volume", which is controlled by your device.
Cable diameter is irrelevant because it does not necessarily indicate the amount of shielding, wire size, number of wires inside, or quality of the cable. When used with devices such as ipods or MP3 players, bigger does not equal better, because the power output from such devices is very, very small. Sound "quality" is affected by many factors, such as; your device, the source of the signal, the original quality of the signal, signal strength, local interference, the speakers being used and whether they are over powered or not (ie, big amp small speakers). And yes, shielded cables are better because they reduce the amount of interference. But the biggest affecter of sound quality is your hearing ability. "Mini jack" ends are "standardized" as are the jack ports on your device. In other words, the mini jacks and ports are all the same size. Note on Apple products, ports are still standard size but are slightly recessed. If you are experiencing "popping" or "crackling" when moving the cable it is most likely that the mini jack port on your device is defective. Rarely is it the result of the cable, when the conductor strands break inside. So, when giving a review on a product you need to keep such things in mind and not be a victim of your ignorance. In other words, get all of the facts before you give a bad review.

High quality, low expense. Works great. I'm using in my car to connect my iTouch to the car stereo system. Works as promised and I anticipate that the quality of this cord is going to hold up over time given the frequent plugging in and unplugging that takes place with the iTouch end of the unit.

The cable is thicker than other brands that I've used in the past. I use these in my car with an ipod. I expect these to go bad after six months; its dangling from the AUX port on my stereo it will eventually short out. Wish I can find some jacks with an "L" shape connector.

It does the trick. It's durable. The gold plating is a nice feature for low contact resistance. Only minor issue is that the connector housings tend to unscrew from the jack unintentionally. You merely need to screw it back down of course.

Worked great but didn't last,

I'm currently on Amazon buying another 3.5mm male to male cord because this one didn't last. Bought it in July 2009 and it worked fine. I used it to connect my mp3 player to my car stereo's aux input. The connector wasn't terribly secure/tight in the aux input jack and I had to pull off the corner of my blackberry skin cover (which is actually quite thin) every time I plugged it in (the connectors are bigger than they look in the photo), but the sound quality was great and besides those minor annoyances, it didn't give me any trouble until recently. The connection recently started degrading, and I noticed a little crack in the wire at the base of the connector end, which creates that skin-crawlingly screechy fuzz sound whenever the cord or mp3 player is jostled. I've used it everyday, so perhaps it's natural wear and tear but I noticed another reviewer had this problem too right from the get-go with this cord.
Bottom line, I'd suggest buying a cord with a warranty, ie. not this one!

Got this because I had a radio adaptor that never worked well. With this cable the sound is perfect and its easy to connect my iPhone and go.
