I just received this case from amazon through amazon marketplace with iskin inc. I absolutely love the case. The case covers every part of the ipod, including the docking port on the bottom. The actual silicon on the ipod is extremely durable, and has holes on the back of the iPod to keep the ipod from being overheated. On the front of the case, a scratch resistant VISOR which does not shift in place. This sllows protection of the front of the ipod, including the screen and the click wheel. The click wheel is protected by a thin membrane, but its a little rough so it might time to get used to.

My only complaint is the cover on the docking port. The docking port is covered by a piece of silicon which is attached to the rest of the case. This makes it really difficult to insert the iPod onto the universal dock, seeing how the dock connector cover isn't really removable. I have emailed iskin about this problem.

I believe the iskin is THE case to get for the ipod. Its durable, stylish, pretty, and is definately worth the $35.

I still haven't figure out why Apple decided to make such an easily scratchable housing for their iPod. Probably so we can all buy fancy cases. Too bad they didn't use the casing from the PSP. Anyhow...

I'm in Iraq, and I needed something that would let it take a small beating and prevent dust from getting on the interface, this does it, and it does it well. I feel that I can give this a small drop, keep it in awkward positions and it will come out unaffected.

The actual skin itself covers everything but the screen, it seems a little bulkier with everything on, but I feel more secure. It covers the wheel well, being very discreet and unaffecting performance. It also has 4 small series of holes that allow it to breathe a little bit. Breathing is good. The hold button is kind of a pain to get to sometimes however.

Then there is the visor. It's nice because the visor goes in the "lips" of the skin and never touches the iPod. It really didn't do much for the couple of screen scratches I have on there already, and picks up the same amount of glare, which is unnoticeable if the backlight is on. I really don't like how it slopes/protrudes around the wheel, but that's me. It doesn't scratch easily either,

The clip it comes with seems a bit flimsy as it's made out of hard plastic, and it doesn't detach, like your cell phone clip. I really wouldn't use the clip for anything more than a brisk walk. But it easily comes on and off.

My final verdict is that it is a good buy, a good value, and definitely worth it.

I looked at all the different cases for my new iPod with video, and the reviews kept pointing me back to this case. So I bought it. it exceeds my expectations. It's fantastic.

My ipod is now completely contained and scratchproof. This helps when down the road I might want to sell it.

The screen cover is perfectly clear and seems very durable. I like the fact that it's held off of the ipod's screen so it won't scratch.

The clickwheel is easily usable, actually more so because of the circle around it.

I bought the case on Amazon from SonicSwap and am astounded at how fast I got it. 2 days! Amazing.

This case is for the 60GB iPod with Video. It clearly says that in the title; not sure how that one reviewer got confused about that.

Don't hesitate. This is THE case!

I was excited this past Christmas to get an iPod, but immediately downtrodden when the screen was scratched bad on the first day I had it! I shelved the iPod until I had protection. This iSkin not only protects the screen, it masked the horrible scratches. THe iSkin also fits the iPod like a glove making it easy to grip and to clip, which is necessary for my outdoor work. I shpopped around and settled on this product and I am glad I bought it.

This is a good skin for the iPod ... the best, in fact, that I have found. I've had my iPod for years thanks, in part, to its excellent protection. I like that it can clip on my belt and I can easily access the iPod's functions. Unfortunately, the clips on mine have broken off across the years and I have probably gone through several (3-4). I am unwilling to purchase anymore because of the high price. If the clip changed to a metal spring variety instead of solid plastic (or the price was lowered to around $10) than I might reconsider.

This is the best skin for your IPOD. It completely covers the ipod, including the screen (which is covered by a thick clear piece of plastic) and the click wheel (which is covered by a very thin membrane so you can still use the click wheel). It also has a slit at the bottom so that you can connect the charger/sync cable. I wasn't able to get it working with a dock, but that's a small price to pay to protect my IPOD for the year or so before the newest, better one comes out... :)

I bought this attractive case from the TechNGnet (whom I can't rate low enough for their return and shipping policies) and immediately had a problem getting my 5G 80gb Ipod into it. It is a clumsy process to get your Ipod into and out of this case. I use inmotion speakers, so I need to remove my Ipod from its case to dock it. This case made this process more complicated than it needed to be.

If you plan on never removing your Ipod from its case, this iSkin might be fine for you. If you're like me, ease of entry and exit overrule this product's good looks.

I have now been shipped two iSkins for my 60Gig, and both of them had the holes in the top in the wrong place. There are at least three flavors of 60 Gig iPods in the marketplace at present, and more coming, it appears, so be careful which one you order. The manufacturer's website is very confusing and unhelpful about identifying the correct model of skin, even if you know the model number of your iPod. I also agree with the other reviewer that the belt clip is a mistake. Throw it away.
