Let me start by saying that if you have the right I-pod ot I-touch this is a great system, but what I didn't know until after I bought mine was that it is only compatible up to Gen 2 for the I-touch and I have a gen 3, 64GB. It comes with lots of inserts and fits many i-pods, but not mine. Calling and emailing the company to find out if perhaps there is a new gen 3 insert I can buy was a waste of time. Every call went to a voicemal telling me they would call right back (I'm still waiting, weeks later) and every email was ignored as well.

Needless to say, my investment (and I had planned to buy the extra speaker for throughout my home and patio) is now wasted. The I-touch works going line in, but thats not what I bought. If you had the right i-pod or touch though it would be great as long as you didn't need service or support. The speakers turn themselves on when the unit comes on and everything can also be powered up by turning on even a speaker. Great concept.

I got given this as a Christmas gift in 2009.
It was easy to set up and works as described.
I have it hooked up to my Flatscreen (using a small pin extention from the TVs audio output to the iSymphony lone audio input.) to give a stereo sound.
Sound quality is very good.
Only minor complaint is that sometimes when cleaning the house, the wire gets a slight jiggle, and the plug into the speaker dislodges easily, but doesn't happen when speaker is playing loudly, so not really a problem.

I bought my isymphony w2c from Amazon and it arrived today. Myself and my son attempted to set it up in our gazebo. We can only get one speaker at a time to work. We have followed the instructions to a tee with no luck. I went looking for tech. support and they want to charge me. I think this is outrageous! i have gone over page 31 till I'M ready to throw it in the pool. I will think twice before recommending Amazon or isymphony ever again. Alan Line
