Overall it does function well for a motion activated garbage can. Wife wanted something more then me buying a run of the mill plastic can that holds garbage, though I offered to spray paint it silver for her.

Pro's:

-Easy to clean outside, wipes easily
-Takes many sizes of bags
-Stainless finish will work with many different kitchen styles

Con's:

-Takes batteries, you need to buy an adapter for more money
-Plastic handles on sides dig into overfilled bags, causing them to rip at times upon pulling bag out
-Plastic ring on inside that is supposed to hold bag inside is poorly designed, ends up being a PITA.

I feel that for the $150 that this can costs, it should include the plug in adapter, and that things like the handles digging into an overfilled bag upon exiting the trashcan should have been taken care of already. Yeah, maybe I'm nitpicking, but I just want to give an honest review of the trashcan and not hold anything back.

I love this garbage can... probably more than my husband who the gift was purchased for. Larger capacity than what is on the market, great conversation piece, stylish design. I ordered the plug-in adapter recommended on amazon, no issues. Where the adapter plugs in is a bit loose. Not sure if this will cause problems down the road but so far, performs to expectation. Order arrived on time, no shipping damages. Highly recommend.

Holds a lot of stuff. Looks cool. Can take 13 gal or 33 gal bags. Opens on pass by motion frequently. Power supply is a must. No touch feat is nice. Really like this can but still think it was too much money.
