5.0 out of 5 stars Extremely pleased, great for so many things
I am extremely pleased with the sound quality on the iTouchless Forever Last Radio/Flashlight/Nightlight. Right out of the package I shook it up a bit and the flashlight worked great. You can also put on the bulb cover and it functions as more of a nightlight.

The antenna extends out from next to the bulb via a cutout in the bulb.

The radio was...

2.0 out of 5 stars Looks good, breaks easily and is hard to operate
This product looks great, it's a cool design. The functionality stinks, however. Drop it once and the little white cap dome over the light will break (we've had two broken that way). This doesn't affect operation, but you're paying a premium for the cool looks. More importantly, the winding mechanism is extremely difficult to pop out and crank. It's a very small...

This review is from: iTouchless Forever Last Radio/Flashlight/Nightlight - Designer Series (Health and Beauty)

The radio was loud and clear even without extending the antenna. It has an AM/FM switch and picks up just as many stations, if not more than my home stereo.

The bottom was a little tricky to figure out how to remove the hand crank. Once I got past that I found it easy to crank and it lasts a full 40 minutes for light only or 20 minutes for radio. To get it working again you can shake it a bit or crank it.

I imagine this would also work fantastic in a child's room to provide a bit of light or music before going to sleep. It's also excellent for camping trips or to keep as a back up source for radio news in your car or home. I really like this, and I plan on purchasing several more for family members.

It's a very small mechanism as well which only adds to the difficulty winding. There are many, many of these wind up lights on the market (many with more LEDs as well). I suggest one with at least LEDs and a large fold-down crank OR a shaker style light.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice little item, September 17, 2010

We got this item to take with us on a cross country car trip. It was just the right size to pack in our overnights to take into the B & B's we stayed in. Great to pack in an emergency kit also.
The crank is a little tricky to remove from the bottom, you have to get it just right, but I wouldn't let that deter you from purchasing it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting Little Radio-Combo, May 1, 2009

I bought this as a gift for White Elephant Exchange (the theme was orange). It gave the crowd a little laugh and everyone was interested in checking it out. The radio reception is surprisingly very very good (even without the antenna sticking out)! Just don't expect it as a very bright flashlight but it definitely serves its lighting purpose. One thing is that when it serves a a nightlight, it's a bit too bright. Would recommend it for a little fun gift, but can't quite say how useful it can get.
