First, I have to say that I never write reviews. Not because I don't think it's worth it, but rather because of the Free Rider problem. I simply don't write reviews, because I usually only buy items that have numerous reviews reported already. I don't buy products because of the label or for trend. Now that I got that out of the way, I have to say that I was absolutely wowed by this product for the price. I took a chance because of the specs and the price, and the iView Cyberpad 756 TPC has more than met my expectations. Without getting into the specs, I'm just going to talk about performance.

-It streams Netflix movies in HD on my Wifi at home which is only a 72MB/s connection with no lag. Something that my Samsung laptop with an i5 processor has a problem doing.
-You can play angry birds, check email, edit Google Calendar & play music for an easy 6-7 hours with no break on one battery charge
-It comes loaded with everything you'd expect from a platform running Android 4.0 (Google Play Store, Calendar, Contacts, Gmail, Skype, YouTube, adobe reader, etc.)
-It runs every type of video file and has no problem with Flash videos)
-The camera resolution is poor, but there is no lag so it is good for skype.
-It's actually nicer looking than the picture
-It's the perfect size for throwing it in a cargo pocket and running to starbucks or barnes and nobles (its thinner than an ipad)
-Every app I've downloaded from Google Play has worked perfectly. My daughter has downloaded every game imaginable including all the android favorites (angry birds, where's my water, cut the rope, etc.)

If you're looking for an iPad buy and iPad, but if you are looking for an inexpensive tablet, you will not beat this one.

-GVT

This tablet is more than worth its price! It features fully functional ice cream sandwich OS (android 4.0.3) with google play store support. The touch screen is enough sensitive to pinches and clicks (of course this is no iPad, but this tablet is 6 times cheaper!). The camera is only 0.3 MP but not bad for skype or google hangout. I ordered it from another online store and it came with 3.5mm in-ear headset, USB connector, Micro USB OTG to USB adapter all for $80! Most of the apps from google play store work great on this tablet. You can also choose any of the free ebook reader apps from google play including Kindle. I used a 16GB microSD card to boost the storage. There is no lag in playing movies from the SD card or reading any data except may be for initial loading. You can order a leather casing with full key board from amazon and use it as a mini-netbook! On the flip side, battery takes really long time to fully charge (>5-6 hr) even with the power adapter. I haven't tested the full discharging cycle yet for videos, ebook and music yet, but with 50% charge it worked at least for 4 hr for regular music, email and facebook activities with intermittent display off-time. The native music player app lacks some very basic functionality like ability to jump to next/previous song when screen is locked. The manufacturer claims it supports some Huawei USB modems for 3G data that presumably enables even turn-by-turn navigation on google maps, but I haven't tested it. All-in-all I am happy with the speed and functionality of the tablet considering it's cheaper than even some of the Android 2.3 tablets in the market!

First and foremost, I didn't order this item through Amazon, but rather a different retailer at a slightly lower price. Even at the current Amazon list price of $119, I feel that this was an excellent purchase. I can't offer any insight on the longevity and durability of the tablet just yet (I just received it yesterday), but my first-glance, out-of-the-box opinion is that it feels quite sturdy and durable. On a side note, I couldn't find anything about the Android Market that it came with, other than it was "King Kong Market" or something of the sort. While this did come with King Kong Market, it also came with the Google Play Store (the standard Android Market that users are used to seeing on their phones, etc.) so that was definitely a welcome surprise. No rooting needed to access it, as it is already there. All-in-all, I think this is an incredible value so far. Just offering my $.02.

I had purchased 3 of these from a different retailer, and all 3 of them were sent back. Multiple people have been having issues with these products and here's why: This product is listed directly on IView's website [...] as a single core Cortex A8 processor at 1.2GHz however, it is NOT a 1.2GHz processor. This listing on Amazon classifies it as an AllWinner110, the device itself shows an ARM7. I'm not sure what the difference is. I have contacted IView about the discrepancy in their listings of their products of multiple retailers and haven't gotten a response. I had submitted the inquiry over a week ago. The retailers I have contacted (Newegg being one of them) stated they specifically copy/paste the information the manufacturer gives them.

As far as the product itself goes, the screen I had on my specific one was faulty. All the cases were flexible as if they were made of cheap plastic or assembled incorrectly. My screen flickered badly, and sometimes even jittered. Quite possibly just a faulty connection at the LCD cable where it plugs into the mainboard, but I wasn't about to open it and possibly void the warranty to see.

The performance of the system is good though, and they seemed to not have stripped out a lot of the settings like some manufacturers do. I didn't notice any lag on mine, and the fact that they use DDR3 memory (at least, it's what their specs show) could be part of the reson. I didn't check to see if the RAM actually was DDR3 or if it was just another mislabeling of their components in order to make a sale, like their processor.
