The watch band feels like silicone, very soft and flexible.

Love the color, the fit, the look and tight hold this watch band gives for my newly purchased ipod nano wrist.

I am very active and the other "watch" type nano-cases I have tried hurt my wrist.

I had always thought that a small mp3 player could always be worn best on the wrist. Clipping it to a band or cuffing it to your bicep wasn't always the most comfortable, secure fit. Obviously, the market wasn't out there for this idea until the 6G Ipod Nano came along. Before, the small size pretty much limited the total song capacity to about two, and there was no option to securely fasten the player to the wrist anyway- they were still too bulky.

This Nano, with its optional clock display-was made for this wristband (and vice versa). I got this watchband as a gift for my wife after getting her the Ipod for Christmas. The fit is tight and secure. The instructions are nonexistent- if you need to adjust the bands to facilitate positioning the Ipod (to not only display correctly but to have the headphone jack positioned correctly as well, you will have to study the pieces and intuit what needs to be done. Not a problem for me- but I am smart:)

In the end, with a little extra effort on my part swapping the bands around- this turned into an appreciated gift. My wife wears the Ipod daily as a watch. All that is needed is to plug in the headphones and the Ipod reverts back to its original purpose- only secured to the wrist (the headphones are positioned to run up inside shirt sleeves, helping to keep the cords from flaying around wildly when working out).

So yes, this is a very good product. No instructions in this case won't merit a mark down because any adjustments are easy to figure out and don't require extra parts/tools to accomplish. Once adjusted (and this may not be necessary for you) this watchband is well-made and obviously manufactured to fit the Ipod securely and attractively. This product complements the Ipod so well I expect Apple will come out with something similar to it, soon.

I've had this for a couple years now, and it's perfect. The plastic mount hasn't broken yet, and whenever I go on a bike ride the rubber doesn't rub off and get gross and heavy like a metal or leather band. Taking the nano off is a breeze, and it's extremely comfortable and flexible. And since it matches my nano, as well as my bike and pretty much everything else I own, I'm a happy camper! The design is also friendly with the headphone cord going up the arm.

Yes, it gets an extremely positive response from those who see it. It's practical and nerdy without being annoying or overly-pretentious, which was my concern when I got it. Overall a fantastic purchase!

This was a gift for my husband who started to take his running more seriously and was using my ipod clipped on his shorts. Igavehim my ipod and this wrist strap. He loves it. It was super easy to install (just slide and clip) and I was surprised by the overqll effect : I was expecting it to be a bit too bulky, which would have been fine because he uses the ipod when running only, but instead it simply looks like a watch. The orznge strap is really nice and very close to the color in the picture. Perfect for daily 10K runs. Very handy to wear the ipod on my wrist instead and the price was right. A definite recommendation

Nice product. I've bought it for my 8 years old girl and she loved. At that age they are very interested about watches and hours and combining it with music is just like the wonder world. The product holds the iPod very well and firm.

I ordered these with the intent of strictly using it for running but I found that I find much more use for it in my fitness regiment that anticipated. This band is awesome at the gym as well while lifting weights or doing anything requiring lots of movement. Those of you know what I mean when you may be doing burpees or jumping jacks and the clip from the iPod starts sliding off your shorts or shirt and goes crashing down to the ground or just dangling in your way. No more of that. Just run the headphone wire under you shirts and down the sleeve and you'll be good to go.

Only downside of these strap conversions for the for IPod's is you forget that they are not a watch and start acting and doing things you would normally do with a standard watch on which could and is costly if your not paying attention. Remember that the strap is cheap but the iPod is not so DON'T WASH YOUR HANDS WEARING IT

Very prompt delivery. It was supposed to be delivered between 12/23 - 12/29, arrived on 12/22.

The watch band feels like silicone, very soft and flexible. Plastic feels solid, and the hardware looks like good quality metal. The plastic backing isn't the kind that you "snap" the ipod into, but rather press down the clip on the back of the ipod and slide over. And for this reason, if you're a person that likes to have put your watch on extra tight, I wouldn't recommend this band--since the plastic backing is open on one side, it could bend or break it. But I really don't think it's gonna break unless you go out of your way to make it REALLY tight on your wrist. Overall I'm very happy with it and for $3.99 + $2.99 shipping, I wouldn't be disappointed even if it did have a few flaws.

One side note, unlike the "snap" in kind of band, you cannot flip the ipod whichever way you want, so the power button always has to be on the lower right, unless you decide to wear the watch band the other way, so that the buckle side band is closer to you.
