My five-year-old received this as a Christmas gift
My daughter absolutely loves this toy, it's really cute and fairly durable, but probably only good for children seven-years-old or under

Basic secret compartment
My six year old enjoys this and likes that she can keep little secret notes inside and a few trinkets like bracelets. The passcode can easily be reset by just pushig all four buttons at once for a couple of seconds. So this isn't super secret, which I like because she is going to forget her password. It is not really a diary, the compartment is too small to hold much...

My 5 yo likes this, but the price is way too high. For the limited functions, I shouldn't have spent more than $15 for it. It is a cute toy and she loves it.
