That size was just about perfect, and it wasn't too much added work.

I also filled them with juices, freshly made lemonades (a variety of flavors), Kool-Aid, and smoothies.

I love these bags! I have made several varieties of "popsicles" for my kids and Grandson with them. The only complaint I have is that they don't really tell you how to close them, after you fill them, for freezing. I filled them up to within about 3-4" of the top, twisted the top repeatedly, then used a piece of tape to hold it to itself off one side. I didn't tape the whole thing, just one side. It held it in place for freezing, but was easily removed by my 7 year old Grandson. These bags hold more than your typical otter-pop type popsicle, which is an added bonus, since the kids would usually eat more than one in a sitting! I also filled them with juices, freshly made lemonades (a variety of flavors), Kool-Aid, and smoothies. I will be making pudding pops with them soon. I love that you can use anything you want! PS. Use a funnel and a 2 cup measuring cup when filling the bags. It makes it easier to fill.

Right - so people complain they are too long (16") --- if you have ever seen the ice candy in the Phillipines or elsewhere...they seal the top with a knot! So --- I like the 16" length, I fill them to 10-12" and then tie a knot...they are able to easily stand up in my freezer in a large cup/container to freeze. You can also fold over the top 4 times (or roll it) and hold with a paper clip or one of the tiny binder clips. As long as they can stand up in your freezer, you don't need a heat-sealed top end.

Perfect bags for traditional Philipine Ice Candy, but I will use them to freeze and transport drinks for the lake side.

Yum, these work well! Make sure not to over-fill them like I did a couple times because they will split at the end and get sugary juice all over your freezer. Leave at least an inch of head-space at the top before the knot.

I have used the washable plastic popsicle molds for a long time, these are WAY better. I find the plastic popsicle molds fiddly to use and wash, they take up a lot of space, and they don't hold more than six popsicles so two people in our family have to wait until the next day to have theirs since I don't have the room for two popsicle stands in our freezer. These fit easily in small spaces.

Love these. They are perfect for making homemade, healthy popsicles for the children. I love that I can make some small by not filling the bags up all the way for my two and four year old and nice big ones for the older children by filling them up all the way. Easy to tie off to seal, they don't leak or drip. If they don't eat the whole thing, it's easy to re tie it and place it back in the freezer for another day.

We purchased this to make juice pops to take to a party, and it was definitely the right call. The ice pops were a hit, and the bags were priced well and shipped quickly. The only "downside" is that they're shaped like Otter Pops and other similar products, but they're larger than standard ice pops (maybe twice the volume or a bit more?). If you've seen the jumbo ice pops that some corner stores and gas stations sell, they're about that size. We ended up using a Seal-A-Meal to heat seal the open end and then cut the bags in half. That size was just about perfect, and it wasn't too much added work.
And yes, they're pretty sturdy. We had four of the half-size bags full of juice fall out of the freezer, and only one of them burst. Yipee!

I loved being able to fill these with smoothies and juices vs. the junky ones from the grocery store. Two reasons I marked it down a little: the size is quite large so filling all the way makes it too much of a portion, also they are bit difficult to seal without the buying the extra heat sealer. The upside though, since they are quite large (longer and a bit thicker than regular freeze pops) there is enough room to fill them and then fold and twist tie the tops. I laid mine on a tray in the freezer first to freeze so they would stay flat and straight.
