One of the first cliches this book mentions is "one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter". He uses the example of Martin Luther king jr and Osama bin Ladin. The irony iis that our own government actually considered Martin Luther king jr a terrorist and had him bugged and wiretapped and our same government armed and supported Osama bin Ladin as a freedom fighter against the soviets. The people who did these condemnations and supportings were gasp... Not liberals. So is he a bad student of history or does he just expect us to be?
P.s. ask noted liberals Reagan and Oliver north about supporting terrorists.
