After waiting 6 weeks for a EdenPure Heater I cancelled the order. After some research I found out that this is the same technology. I called, ordered the unit and in 3 days it arrived. The Sports Warehouse was stellar to deal with. You only wish more companies had this level of excellent customer service.

The iheater rocks! It warmed our store in 10 minutes. The safety factor of not setting anything on fire and being able to stand close to the iheater is supremo. The iheater gives a very even & comfortable warmth.

This unit will definitely pay for itself this season. We have a 3 ton electric heater which costs us about $3/Hr. to operate. The iheater will be only $0.40/Hr. to run (NYC commercial rates). BIG DIFFERENCE! We will only have to run the larger 3 ton unit 1/5 of the time now. For our winter heating budget even with the purchase of the unit we will spend less money.

This was a great purchase and value. We are really pleased!

It took me 2 years to decide to buy one of these infared heaters. I settled on the I heater. I work in the hvac field so i used some of the tools of the trade to test the performance of this heater. There is a difference between the small medium and large room settings. The small rm puts out 85 degree air. The large rm puts out 110 degree air. I have used the heater for 30 days. I use it in a very large room. The room is a open floor plan room with a cathedral ceiling 14 foot at highest point.(dinning rm kitchen and family rm). The heater is set at 75 and never shuts off for the 4 to 5 hours its on. The heater will raise the wall t-stat one to 4 degrees in the 5 hours it is on. I keep the wall t-stat set at 68. If I set the iheater at 72 it will shut off, but doesnt cycle like it should. The temp in the room drops quickly wants the heat source is off. It does keep the furnace from cycling on and off. I turn the iheater on at 4 and off at 10 and the furnace doesnot run during those hours. I did try the iheater in an other room. When i started the test it was 68 in the room with humidy reading of 37%. the iheater was set at 75. It took 2 hours to heat room to 75. The heater shut off. I took temp readings at ceiling it was 80. At the floor it was 70. The so called even heat from floor to ceiling is misleading. The humidy dropped to 32%. so the heater does remove humidy. But the iheater say it doesn't remove humidy. Now comes the electric bill. The bill went up $23 from last year.$40 from last month. But I didn't use the furnace until the end of the month so that is not accurate gauge. The iheater is great for that all over warm feeling if you stand a few feet from it. Like other people have said if you stay in one room all the time then it is great. But the rest of your house gets cold.... It can keep a room cozy. It cant heat 1000 sqft like the box states. It is better than the ceramic heaters but cost alot more too.
So my final word is this it saves on the gas bill but causes the electric bill to go up. Read more ›

Claims to heat 1000-1500 square feet, but I doubt that this can be done in other than a closed, low-ceiling, environment. I bought this to warm up my bathroom, which is open, with 12-16 feet ceilings. It still helps, but not to the degree I would have hoped. As long as I stand within 5-6 feet or so with the setting on the largest room size and highest heat, it does warm me up (while shaving and drying off after a shower, for example). I'm still glad I bought it, because it certainly outperforms other space heaters I have tried. I would recommend the product, but with lowered expecations than the sales literature claims.
