This is THE CLASSIC sophisticated cocktail glass. The Aarne glass has been copied often in concept but the results are, well, copies. We have used our glasses for several months now and although the glass is elegantly thin, it is very durable. The glasses even work well being in the freezer for a few hours so that when the Martinis or Manhattens are poured, they hold their desirable chill for a longer time in the beauty of frosted glass. Iittala also provides superior design in their durable packaging.

Beautiful glasses and just the right size to hold a properly made drink.

Really gorgeous Glasses! A real time warp item that reminds me of old glamour movies set in the fifties. I love these glasses but be advised these glasses are not made in Finland, made in Germany. The item description may have stated this, however it was not obvious to me. That said, I enjoy these Finland designed, German made glasses!

The price was a little daunting but I am THRILLED with these cocktail glasses. They are just beautiful, crystal clear, heavy at the base but almost delicate at the top. Drinks look great in them.

They can't be frozen - but I did keep them in the refrigerator before a party. That kept them cold enough.

Still have the double set of these we purchased over 25 years ago. Pristine condition. Elegant and not lightweight. Nice balance and weight to the stem. They are very "ergonomic". Gave a set to our daughter on her 21st birthday. Classic lines. Great feel. Form and Function. Designed in the 50's and in the permanent collection at MOMA. Great all around cocktail glasses, though they shine with a martini.
