Each objet d'art of colored crystal glass is handblown and decorated using filigree techniques and a palette designed by Toikka specifically for his glass bird series. This tiny beauty comes in a deep burgundy mottled with red, black, and brown markings subtly raised to depict its plumage. Its clear-glass head with black beak lies close to its body as if in peaceful slumber. The piece carries Toikka's signature and a collector's tag for authenticity, and it comes wrapped in iittala tissue paper in a gift box.
