Product Description

The set of two red wine glasses from iittala exemplifies finnish design. The essence stemware collection consist of 4 essential pieces, including this 16-ounce red wine glass. According to the designer, alfredo haberli, the thinking behind the design collection was to have as few pieces as possible while still being able to serve a full range of wines/champagnes. Each glass is firmly balanced and feels comfortable in hand. The bowl diameter at the top is 2-3/4-inch. The bowl is 4-inch top to bottom and then 9-inch tall including the stem.

I love the design but I was worried that the thin guage of the glass would be too fragile. We've had our first two for two years now and we haven't broken one yet!

Incredible, modern style with classic functionality. Sits well in your hand. Crystal glass. One of the best collections by Alfredo Haberli & iittala.

I bought a pair of these flutes for a class project. They're beautiful, simple, and sturdy. The base is large so you don't worry about breaking it and the design is gorgeous. Elegant, but still functional. It's perfect!
