Illy Moka is created specifically for stovetop espresso makers and it is the best pre-ground espresso available. I make a perfect latte with this stuff every morning and save $4 a day over Starbucks. If you feel that the price is too high, buy it in bulk directly from Illy for a better deal.

Nothing really that I can add that has not been previously written. I use it each morning for a cup of expresso. Smooth, rich, delicious. A bit pricey and yet well worth it. It compares well with German espressos I grew to love while living there.

Love the packaging, ensures freshness and it's pretty. Ground so fine and silky. We use it in the Bialetti Stainless Steel to make mochas. Better than Starbucks, which took years to accomplish. Use it with Torani Sauce, yum!

Taste of this espresso was very bitter, made 3 pots using different portions and still the taste was very bitter.

strong ... and fantastic coffee brand... I like it and most of my Italian friends love it.

I've made 6 cup of illy coffee in my office, almost whole offices around mine get smell like coffee.

Tips:

1. don't drink it late afternoon or evening, you'll have diffcuilty to sleep at night.

2. after opining keep it in dry cold area.

3. the best time to drink the coffee in early morning and after lunch...

This is some great coffee that I bought when I purchased Bialetti Cappuccino and Latte Set. It's directly endorsed by Bialetti and enjoyed the coffee that I made. Unfortunately I can't justify the price so I've moved on the less expensive roasts. Otherwise this coffee is great!

This is great coffee! I have a Bialetti Moka coffee maker at work and this coffee is absolutely delicious! Full bodied and bold but no bitterness AT ALL!

Best espresso you can buy. Wonderful taste, just like the espresso I used to purchase when I lived in Italy..

When I was in Italy for a year, I drank Illy on a daily basis. I bought this can to use with my Bialetti moka pot at home. It smells AMAZING when you open the jar, and once percolated tastes pretty delicious. It is a bit overpriced with shipping, though.

I usually stick with the red tin Illy espresso and love it. But I tried this blend for my stovetop espresso and it is a very bold blend. I typically like my blends not so bold. Nothing against the quality, but it's just not for me.
