This is more of a novelty item than a tool. The beak punches through the fruit and the seeds are left in the bowl and then pour out with the juice (no filter). it is fine for one lemon but for anything more you would want a real tool. That said, it is very pretty and something nice to leave out on the counter as more of a conversation piece than a kitchen tool. It is well made, has a nice weight and has a bisque-like texture that feels good in the hand.

I was really excited to find a kitchen gadget that was beautifully designed and functional at the same time. Unfortunately, this product is not it for me. It's adorable looking, but it was completely useless when I tried to juice a lemon and lime on it--the rinds of both the citrus were easily punctured by the beak. Also, as other reviews have mentioned, there isn't a glaze on the ceramic so it feels a little rough to the touch. Too bad, it's so cute. If you just want something decorative then it may work for you, but it isn't a replacement for actually juicing fruit in my kitchen.

This is a beautiful sculptural object that works well for what it is intended: a juicer!
I love looking at it and using it...
Great for a gift...who already has one?

This is a really fun and beautiful juicer. Its very functional and makes short work of lemons, just be careful not to poke yourself with the beak.

We bought one of these juices on a visit to NYC and wanted to get another. We found them not to be available in the UK.

IMM LIVING were less than useless in advising where in the US or Canada we could buy one (as later this year we are in Vancouver and SF), and were firm they couldn't supply one to us. There is a world outside, Imm!!!

We found the juicer on Amazon and first time found that no-one would sent to the UK....another reminder that there's a big world of which the UK is part.

I recently looked again and luckily found someone that would ship to the UK. Yes it cost us money, but after thinking about it, we did not want to spent holiday time searching through cook shops to find the juicer.
