What makes you feel important? I'm not sure what really makes me feel important.
I've sort of started reading a lot of books like this (also Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich" and Steven Johnson's "Mind Wide Open") to sort of figure out who I am. Well, Carnegie says "tell me what makes a man feel important and I will tell you who he is" or something similar...so I've thought, I just need to figure out what makes me feel important to figure out who I am.
But, lately, the only things that seem to make me feel important, are (i) having been given a large salary coming out of college and (ii) when hot chicks are actually entertained by interacting with me, etc. I know this is incredibly shallow, but does anyone have experience figuring out what is the best way to make yourself feel important?
Is this something that Dale Carnegie doesn't really discuss all that much?
