After visiting with my diabetic mother, and seeing how great this works, I'm buying one for my mother-in-law. It glides effortlessly over the paper and really does a great job magnifying the content. It's compact and comes in a carrying pouch.

Bought this as a gift magnifiers and brightens text....was a big hit ..it works great and is very stylish ...I will be buying more

My job requires me to pour over maps and engineering drawing that often have tiny text and poor copy quality. I love using a dome magnifying glass, as it does all the focusing for me. The only drawback is that you need to have a flat surface supporting the document, whereas a traditional magnifying class has no such viewing requirement. It's a tradeoff I am more than happy to accommodate, though.

This is an attractive and practical magnifier that I like seeing left out on my desk. It magnifies wonderfully and is very easy to use (i.e., don't have to move around to get the perfect focus).
