I bought this to get my OTA antennae higher up above my roof line, I was using my parts of my old Dish Network dish mount and this product raised the mount up by a good foot and half. I did not use the base plate because I did not want to remove the one I had mounted to the house already and this bolted up to it just fine. The one thing that annoyed me was that the only hardware provided was for mounting into concrete or a chimney, no lag bolts for those who plan to mount to a wood surface. Other than that the unit is stable and nice looking.

I was able to mount the plate on a vertical surface and have the pole run parellel to the plate. There is a lot of flexibility built in to mounting positions.

I ordered an DB4 Antenna and this 40 inch mount. No problems very sturdy, will work with any antenna with the standard u-bolt mount.

This was the 2nd antenna I had installed. I had used a conduit for the first one and it installed fine. But this one needed to hang from a rafter in the attic. This mount was strong and adjustable enough to get to just the right angle I needed. It came with the 3 bolts needed to allow it to adjust as well as the 4 needed to secure it to the rafter. It also came with sealant pads to prevent water leakage if it had been installed outdoors, so I just set those aside. This was a bit more expensive than I had in the plans, but it did exactly what I needed.

Here's a very sturdy mast that has withstood high winds on my roof. Very durable, well made with quality construction. This improved my high definition antenna signal from 50% to 100%. I needed this mast because I hid my antenna on the back of the home facing toward the front. The slope of the roof prevented all of the signals from reaching the antenna. This mast was the perfect height and quality.

This didn't work me me. My antenna has a male receiver that this mount would attach to. But, this "universal" mount did not accept it. Also, just FYI. The box came with gear to attach the j mount to the house but, not anything to attached antenna to the j mount.

This is a fantastic kit compared to other j-mounts. It comes with all hardware and tar tabs for roof mount.

I purchased this item for the installation of a Winegard GS2200 television antenna. I had originally planned on installing a normal 24" mounting bracket under the eave at the peak of the roof, but the 24" arm would not extend beyond the roof line. Without the antenna above the roof line, I expected less than optimum performance. So, I purchased this item and was very pleased. It is quality construction, but the hardware was metric. I found this out while 20ft in the air trying to tighten the bolts. I'm not sure if they are all shipped that way, but you definately want to check it out before accending the ladder. Other than that, I was very pleased with the product and it gives you that that extra length that is sometimes required.

I used this mounting pole for a directional cell phone antenna. I used the short leg of the pole for the antenna and clamped the long leg into the wall mounting bracket. The installation was easy, the set up is solid and the position of the antenna can be aimed accurately to maximize signal.

Goes perfectly with the DB4 Antenna Keeps it neat and takes up very little space - we mounted it on our 4X4 back porch.
