Yes, all of the information you enter into the program resides and stays on your computer -- it is accessible only from your PC. Additionally, you have the option to password protect the program, so that you have to know the password to get to your documents. Not only does it stay only on that computer, but if you have several user accounts, it will not be viewable from the others. Example- I set it up on our "family computer" (it was the only non-mac computer I could use), and the computer has 6 different user-accounts for every member of the family. I installed it under my husband's username and when I tried to find it on my username, I was not able to find it. I had to switch users back to my husband's to be able to view anything.
