This is a great cover because it provides protection to the iPhone without making it bulky. Also, one of the big problems with other cases is they tend to stick to the pocket -- making it difficult to get to the iPhone. Not so with this case. It slides in and out of shirt or pants pockets with ease.

There are no shortage of cases for the iPhone, so choosing one can be quite a daunting task. I spent a couple days trying to find one that I liked and ended up ordering this one.

I like this case because it seems to fit well. It also gives the phone more grip in your hands without being too grippy like some of the silicone protectors. I needed a case that was grippy enough to hold but not one that was so grippy that it would turn my jean pockets inside out when retrieving my phone. This has a nice balance.

I'm not one who cares too much about the "fashion" aspects of the case but more than a few people have commented how they liked the blue case on my phone and asked where I got it.

The bare iPhone 3G is prone to cracking if dropped. So I think such a case is - unfortunately - a necessity with the iPhone 3G.

I first bought this case for my iPhone and loved it. We then bought a second one for my wife's iPhone. Friends with iPhones - when they see this case - also want to get it.

That said - the fit to the iPhone 3G is excellent and it is very comfortable to hold in your hand. This hard shell case provides great protection for the iPhone 3G. It is available in black, blue, and red colors. We have both the black and blue cases and I think the blue color is very sharp.

The only downside on the case is that it won't fit in the dock on our iPhone-compatible clock radio. Thus we can't use the iPhone dock insert for the clock radio and we need to use the clock radio without a snug fit in the dock. This issue would happen with any similar iPhone case. However - it is pretty simple to open and remove the iPhone from this case if desired.

Bottom line - we think this is one of the best iPhone 3G case options out there.
