This review is from: An introductory programmed course in Tok Pisin (Paperback)
Mi ken tok nau! If you have an interest in Papua New Guinea or Port Moresby pidgin English, you will find this fascinating! I first got interested while watching a special on PBS on logging in New Guinea. I was shocked when I suddenly realized that the people were talking something similar to English but that has sounded to me like another language until that moment. With a little research, I found out about Tok Pisin. This programmed course (a loan from a friend) answered many of my questions. Well produced, quite effective. I recommend it if you have an interest in the area!
