My spouse and I both have these Zagg Invisible Shields and are quite happy with them. Each took 5 or 10 minutes to install properly, but it wasn't hard and bubbles weren't a problem. (The hole around the button on the front isn't *exactly* lined up on my iPhone 3G, but it's really close.) I didn't get it quite right the first try at installation, but it wasn't hard to reposition before I squeegeed it down. We've had them for several months now and they are still in place and look brand new.
I hated the fingerprints on the iPhone's screen and was constantly wiping them off--until one wipe put a big scratch across the screen. The shield does get dirty and has to be cleaned every few days, but it's much better because individual fingerprints don't really show. I don't mind the slight change in the appearance of the screen, especially since it covers up the nasty-looking scratch pretty well.
Added advantage is that it makes the phone less slippery, so the phone hasn't fallen out of my pocket as often since I got the screen.

Purchased this for my new iPhone 3GS. Easy to install if you take your time. Fit is better than the cheapie 3 pack shields from WalMart.

Since it's a rubbery film it does degrade the image quality on the iPhone a bit. The cheapie shield from WalMart was clear as glass. The invisibleShield has some texture to it, but it is still clear. Not a big deal for me.

Only complaint is that when the iPhone is in my pocket on a hot day, the invisibleShield has a tendency to 'wander' around the iphone. It's easy to flatten it back out. Sometimes I have to just apply a bit of pressure on it to slide it back into place. Since it's rubbery it will stretch and move unlike the cheap WalMart shield which is a sheet of plastic.

Planning on ordering another invisibleShield for the wife's iPhone...

This product works fantastic. The thing that really makes it nice is that it reduces the fingerprint smudges on the iPhone by ALOT. This is a huge benefit over just the protection aspect of the product.

Applying this product to your phone is tough. I had to remove it twice and start over. There is PLENTY of solution included to do several reapplications. I didn't even use half of what came with the cover. Go slow, take your time, and plan on 10-15 minutes to get it right. You won't be sorry.

My family has 6 iPhones. I purchased a variety of screen protectors for them and out of 4 different products the Zagg Invisible Shield stands out in durabilty and serious protection. It is a bit overpriced and as others have pointed out... It's just two holes and they cant' get the alignment right? Can"t speak about other iPhones, but all 6 of ours have the ear and home buttons in the same place. Anyway, inspite of the hole misalignment and price, I like the product and have ordered 5 more.
BTW: We all have the iFrogz Luxe cases... great stuff!

I bought this protector when I bought my iPhone 3G at Best Buy. It came highly recommended by the people that worked there. Now, let me tell you, it was worth the money. I only got the front protector, and have not tried the back. The description is true to its word! It is barely there, and I love it. It makes my screen not feel so breakable at all. I would recommend this for any iPhone protector for the cover. Now I did combine this with a sleek black case, and I love it. This is amazing, it does as it is described! I would recommend buying it from Best Buy, and for like an $8 fee they will install it for you and it took about five minutes for him to do it!

This gives my screen GREAT protection, easy to apply and I can toss my phone into my purse with keys, wallet and who knows what else with no worries of my screen getting scratched

The "regular" screen protectors (cheap, come in three packs or five packs or even more) for iPhone are an absolute nightmare to install correctly. They're slightly sticky on one side and if you don't line them up right off the bat, it's "peel and stick, peel and stick" and while you do it, you accumulate dust and hair that can't be removed.

Even if you're really skilled with the "regular" protectors, you invariably get at least one speck of dust or one hair making a little "bubble" underneath that never goes away and that will press on your actual screen over and over again as you use your iPhone.

More to the point, they scratch and wear out quickly, so that you go through them rapidly.

I bought the InvisibleSHIELD because I found myself in need of a screen protector in Manhattan and the only thing around was a Best Buy and the only protector they had was InvisibleSHIELD for $20, more than I wanted to pay. I balked, but finally decided I'd give it a one-time shot and hope I didn't regret my purchase.

I absolutely don't. The InsivibleSHIELD requires more work to install; there's a sponge with some special fluid that you have to use, and a squeegee, and once installed there are microbubbles everywhere and the surface is foggy and ugly, but the package clearly states that this will clear up in about 24 hours, and the actual process of positioning the protector is easier because it's wet and can slide around a little.

Once 24 hours have passed, you find yourself with an absolutely smooth-as-glass, bubble-free installation that doesn't at all resemble the mess you started with. It's perfectly transparent, almost undetectable (especially in comparison to "regular" screen protectors) and just beautiful. It looks like the iPhone came from the factory with the InvisibleSHIELD already on.

Unlike "regular" protectors, InvisibleSHIELD is slightly soft; it's not a hard plastic, almost more of a smooth rubber. It doesn't scratch at all or gradually get worn or marked up. I can see it lasting for years without needing to be replaced. And the slight rubbery thickness of it will no doubt protect against some impacts (say, dropping a coin or a metal wristwatch) that might have cracked the screen through other screen protectors.

In short, it's absolutely worth the $20 I spent on it after going through packs and packs of the "other" screen protectors over time, never being quite satisfied with my installations (always "oh well" about one or two bubbles at least). You do, however, have to be willing to follow the directions (YES, use the fluid, YES, use the squeegee, YES, wait 24 hours at least since at first it really does look horrible) to get it right.

I have only used one other type of screen protector (the cheap 3-pack kind from Wal-Mart), so I don't have much to compare this to. I can tell you that I was really unsatisfied with the first screen protectors I tried--they were peeling off at the corners after a day or two, and bubbles were a problem.

I am 100% happy with my new invisibleSHIELD. The application process seemed intimidating from the instructions, but it wasn't a big deal. I put the shield on once and it was a bit crooked, so I just peeled it off, resprayed everything, and put it back on. No sweat.

There were a few bubbles at first, but like other reviewers have said, you just have to be patient and wait for them to work themselves out. The squeegee took care of the big bubbles, and the little ones just eventually disappeared. It *will* happen, I promise! And now my screen is crystal clear and totally protected. I throw my iPhone into my purse with my keys and pens and goodness knows what else, and there's not a scratch on it. The plastic of the screen does feel a tad tacky to my fingertip, but I'm ok with it. There's only a tiny bit of increased friction, hardly noticeable, and it doesn't affect the scrolling or sweeping motions at all.

Excellent product, well worth every dollar!

This product is a must when you have an iPhone. It protects from scratches, dings, bumps, and fingerprints. The best thing about this product is if it ever becomes damaged or peels off of your screen, they offer a free lifetime replacement, but beware you do have to pay shipping and handling. I highly recommend any iPhone owner to purchase this product.

I just ordered my second for my girlfriend because she has been so jealous of mine when comparing it to her screen protector(s). This is the best phone accessory I have ever purchased--value for money!
