These are great. Very durable. I have been using mine for months with no problems. They make using the iolite very pleasant. The vapor is too hot to enjoy without these.

You can also combine all of them to make an extra long mouthpiece for a very pleasantly cool smoke.

If you're planning to buy an iolite hand held vaporizer, this is an absolute "must have" addition. The vapor is hot, even when using the included cooling device, and if you're apt to be using your vaporizer often, it will slowly irritate your mouth, tongue and throat. These stems can be added to extend the length of the mouthpiece to help cool the vapor. They make a big difference.

I'm a huge fan of the Iolite vaporizer, as well as the optimizer that you can buy as an accessory. I'm not, however, a fan of this extension mouthpiece set. They don't really stay together, which means you can take it apart, but it also means that it's not really stable when you're using it. Do yourself a favor, buy the optimizer, but not this. Instead, get some simple medical tubing, about six inches long, and put it over the top of the mouthpiece that comes with the Iolite vaporizer. This will give you some extra length, which allows the vapor to cool a bit before it hits your lungs, but the medical tubing won't come off from regular use (unlike the extended mouthpiece). I've been using this for about 9 months now, works like a charm.
