2.0 out of 5 stars Errors on Research Paths, July 25, 2011
This review is from: The irresistible American softball book (Paperback)
While I enjoyed certain parts of this book, mainly those dealing with softball history, it contains inaccuracies about the All-American Girls Softball League (the first name, the first year, of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, or AAGPBL). It speaks of the Rockford Teachers instead of the Rockford Peaches, and it reports that the salary of the players was $125-250 a week, which I don't think is true (more like $45 to maybe $125 a week).
