No. That was one great thing about it, it's incredibly fast. It turns on when you open it, and it takes about 3 seconds and it's ready to go

it can be sometimes. Its not as fast a s "standard" computer. If too many browsers are open it will get slower.

Compared to what? A windows machine? Well, let's use 2 items you might be more familiar with. Stop light. A huge Peterbuilt Semi Loaded down with a load of iron rods. Its at it capacity. Next to it is a Toyota Corolla, with 1 person in it. Light changes.... which one does the quarter mile faster? Which one boasts the most power? Not the same thing, but the Corolla will run circles around the giant Peterbilt. We all don't need Peterbilts. But we all must travel the super highway. In my comparison, the Chromebook is the Corolla.
