I ordered 3 sets of these to make "stepping stones", per our physical therapists recommendation. We use them to help my child with his gross motor skills. They have worked wonderfully!

I would also like to add that they feel great on your feet (I have to wear socks) otherwise they hurt my tender feet, ha ha. They are a bit smaller than I expected and I must say that the kids are better at walking across all of them than I. You can even turn them upside-down and walk across them, just be cautions as they do "rock" quite a bit, but still very useful and challenging this way. Put them in a straight line for even more of a challenge. My kids like to lay on them to massage their backs. One of the most useful and versatile tools I've ever used.

I bought these because I am trying to strengthen my core and improve my balance to take some strain off my knees. I am glad I bought the set of two as it adds some variety to the ways I can use them. I am seeing some positive results just from standing on one or both while I watch TV at night. The mesh bag is handy to have when I take them along.

I have been looking everywhere for these and was amazed to find them here for such a reasonable price. 6" is actually bigger in person than I thought it would be. They also came in a nice drawstring bag, which is useful for storage.
