I bought this clock for my daughter after I had received a different projection clock as a gift. My daughter really likes the on-ceiling display of the clock. The only drawbacks: the projection device does not swivel left and right. That would help in positioning the on-ceiling display a little better. Also, you must set the projection clock separate from the regular clock-radio clock. Other than that, I would recommend.

I read the 1-star reviews and the 4- and 5-star reviews BEFORE I purchased this projection clock. I had to find out for myself. For the price, it couldn't be beat. After following the set-up instructions, I couldn't be more pleased with the performance of this space-age looking clock. IT'S FABULOUS. Someone said that it was an ugly clock. However, I respectfully disagree. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Whoever designed this clock with it's modern look should be promoted. It is brilliant!! The criticism that one can't read the projection time on the ceiling during the day is counterintuitive. One usually doesn't sleep during the day!! The idea of the projecting the time on the ceiling is BRILLIANT!!! I just roll over and there it is. No hassle, no fumbling, no bright lights in your eyes. Another criticism is that one couldn't sleep with bright light in their eyes. Just turn the clock face 90 degrees away from you and look at the ceiling!!

I came back to Amazon.com to buy two more (just in case the are discontinued for whatever reason). I LOVE THIS CLOCK!!!

I didn't like it but to be fair it's accepted for $10. My problems with it are:
1. It's bulky and heavy. (80s style)
2. Projection only seen in dark and the focus function isn't quite enough to get it clear on mycieling
3. If you like bright light in your room while sleeping then the standard digital clock is for you (I can't sleep like this)
4. Controls are flimsy and so very old style
5. You can't unset the alarm. You have to kill power to do that
6. Works only on electricity (120 V) and the battery (not supplied) is to keep the clock from resetting when there is a black out.
7. Even though the projector clock (the faint one) always resets to 1:00 when you unplug the power.

If you need more quality look somewhere else for some extra money.

I shopped around for 3 months before deciding on this model. It is different, but my husband thinks it is "too cool!" I agree. The projection is bright and I love the focus dial. I highly recommend this one! Truly a masterpiece!

I bought one of these projection clock radios for my husband and I and we love it. It projects the time up on the ceiling, so you can see what time it is, any time during the night, without getting up or looking for the clock on the night stand. Our daughter saw it and wanted one for her and her husband too. I ordered this one for them. It is exactly what I wanted.

I bought this little clock radio for my daughter and myself, we both are up a lot in the night, wondering what time is it. This clock is absolutely GREAT, you just lay in your bed and look at the ceiling and there is the time. The little radio get's great reception, when most radio's in my house don't. I would buy again and would even recommend to a friend. I actually bought three, one for my house, one for the RV and one for my daughter. THANK YOU.....Sherry McCoy

excellent choice. projected red LED time on bedroom wall is the best.
wake up to your favorite station on the radio.

Dual time is a boon, just turn the clock for the daytime.

I received the JWIN Clock Radio about a month ago and so far I love it. I basically needed the projection clock and it definitely serves it's purpose. My mom fell in love with it and I ordered one for her also.

Clock turned out to be too large for a bedside night-table, was analog tuning rather than digital and was affected (slow) by 50 cycles electrical supply. Projection feature was good, only other good thing was the price.

I bought it just for the LED projection but it is not all that.
You can not see the time during the day...
Also it doesn't have a regular alarm mode, only the radio function to wake you up...
