I really love waking up to the music of my choice! Contrary to another reveiw here, you CAN program this to play any track first or randomly pick one for you. It sounds great for its size, fits easily on the nightstand without overcrowding. Working flawlessly since purchase (4months). Glad I took a chance, as I was not familiar with any jWin products. Control labeling should be more clear; I need to turn on a bright light to change settings but I think its to not distract from the handsome look. Since being laid-off a few weeks ago, Im still letting this clock wake me (a little later). I just love waking to a favorite artist! Bob

Only had this product a couple weeks. Cheap, get what you paid for. The light on it is bright even when dimmed. The alarm part has worked so far, You can only wake up to the 1st track of a cd, but it did this weird buzzing sound the other night, not sure if its a one time thing or not. Haven't decided if I need to look for new alarm or not. Sound quality is fine.

I just received this CD player/alarm clock and it sounds awful. The spindle that holds the CD is too short and the CD clicks on the plastic bottom as it spins, not only creating a really annoying noise while playing but also scratching my CD. You can hear it even when turned to full volume and due to the scratching is completely unusable as a CD player. Lame. I don't know if mine is just defective but I really wish I hadn't spent the money on this piece of crap. Never heard of JWin and I can only assume this is why. Do Not Buy This!

Pros:

-digital display of fm radio frequency

-nice sound

-clock dimmer

-dual alarm

Cons:

-when the unit is sitting on a surface (such as a nightstand) and you are laying down, it is hard to read the display because it is at a tilt and not completely vertical

-snooze button is small and near the bottom (at least compared to my last alarm)

-the switch to turn the radio/alarm off took some getting used to

-the snooze alarm off (turns the alarm off for that day, until the next morning) is in sort of an inconvenient place

Overall I rate this a 3, because it was one of the only radio/cd alarms I could find, let alone one of the only radio alarms I could find with a digital display for the fm. Otherwise, the snooze button and alarm off button could be better located on the unit.

...I'd send this back. Nothing is AWFUL about this unit, but it's about as cheaply made as the price tag would indicate.

Contrary to what other reviews have stated, the random track feature is not available while using alarm mode. Further problems in alarm mode: the snooze button is not easily actuated; the device makes an electronic clunking noise about 3 or 4 seconds before the music starts playing; when the 7-minute snooze time is up, the device restarts track 1 again.

Maybe I missed a toggle or other setting that overcomes the random and restart shortcomings mentioned above, but I don't think so.

Save yourself the disappointment and spend a little more money on a device that reached higher.

I have a small desk and needed something small to fit in the corner but still allow me to listen to music. This fits and sounds perfect. I couldnt have asked for anything better!

I purchased this product on Feb. 9th and it is already broken(4 months)! The cd player will not play. Think twice before you make this purchase.
