Bought this phone for my grandfather who's hard of hearing and wanted something that lights up whenever the phone rang. Phone works, but the flasher isn't bright enough and not loud enough, hence the 4 stars.

It got it for my mother who's in a nursing home. I haven't had the chance to take it to her yet, but I tested it, and it works. Contrary to the appearance, it's not a speakerphone, but my mother wouldn't benefit from such a feature because of her poor hearing. She'll defintely appreciate the big, clearly-marked redial button, and the base-mounted buttons will keep her from accidentally squeezing them and breaking the connection.

This phone was listed as having "music on hold", a feature I had to have; I had looked at close-up image to check it before ordering, but when it arrived, the button that had been shown as "hold" was changed to "redial".

This phone doesn't have a Music on Hold feature that I can see on the phone unless it is done with a call waiting feature. But there is no hold button. The manual says, "When in an office equipped with PABX, your unit makes it easy to transfer calls." It then gives instructions but never states while they are holding to be transferred they are listening to music unless that is what the PABX does.

I was disappointed that this phone didn't have a hold button that offered a melody. That was why I bought this phone.

Mult-tasking telephone for my home that I will never loan. Great
fit for limited spacing. This telephone rings, sings, flashes, equipped with mute in my commute line of communication. Tne re-dial device is great for me to dial a number twice. Great tone for talking
and not walking. Light-weight, packs and ships well, great price for
on-line shopping. I found the same product in my neighborhood store
at a higher price.
