I purchased this camera to have a low priced lab camera for petri dish monitoring. It gives a blue screen of death every time on my vista machines, and works perfect on my XP machines. Nice picture quality, effects package and the low light feature is nice too.

ok so I purchased this webcam about a week or 2 ago and so far its ok. It's very easy to set up and use. However I do beleive that this webcam was made for older versions of windows. I have windows vista and the software for this webcam is crashing alot of my programs. My internet explorer never closes out properly. Another issue with this webcam is recording videos. When you record the video it is absolutely perfect you can hear yourself talk as you record, but when you have saved the video and try to open it to play it it's hard to find a software that will play the video. The videos this webcam takes is not compatiable with many things for instance windows media player will not play the video at all. Other than these issues the webcam is a great item for it's price. It works absoluelty amazing with skype. Overall it's an ok product.

Great product but it does not fit my current laptop computer. Clip is not "tensioned" to fit all laptop covers--keeps gliding off. Excellent pictures while chatting! Passed it on to another friend who may benefit better.

I have noticed other reviewers complain that this webcam doesn't fit properly on their laptop. We had no such problem since, as is shown on the webcam's box, the camera fits snugly to a MacBook Pro laptop. Unfortunately, it is not compatible with said laptop, despite photographic evidence on the packaging. Maybe if your product doesn't work with Macs, you should Photoshop it working on a PC for your packaging.

Awesome little product! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. My daughter's webcam went out and I was not able to video chat with her and my grandchildren. Since purchasing this, we have been able to chat without any issues at all. She said it was very easy to install.

Good camera but the clamp to clip it to your laptop is very poorly made and need to be stronger. Also the software is comes with does not work at all.

Works well! Pleasantly surprised at the focus. Not top quality, but works better than the price would suggest! :) I'm glad I went with this one!

I bought this for my parents so we can skype each other and as soon as my dad loaded it on to his computer, which had Windows Vista, it crashed his computer and he lost everything. He had to put his computer back to the manufacturer mode. It was an excelent price but you can never put a price on the damage that was done and all the information that was lost.

I have not received this device yet but I feel, from the reviews I have read, it will work well with the XP device I am hooking it to. You'll said it works great with Skype, and that is its main purpose. I only needed a small laptop clip-on type camera / mic. If worst comes to worse, I'll velcro it to the top of the laptop (removeable).
