Brian says:
Why, WHY, can we not get a simple Blu-Ray release of this movie? For that matter, why are most of the newer releases these days only available as combo packs? It doesn't make sense.

I went to three separate stores over the weekend: Wal-Mart, Best Buy, and Amoeba Records in Hollywood. And, I kid you not, practically EVERY SINGLE movie from this past summer was priced between $25.99 and $32.00......all because they were Blu-Ray/DVD combos! None of these films were available as single Blu-Ray editions.

Call me crazy, but why does this happen? Why do we need 2 copies of the same film-(Blu-Ray & DVD)-in the same package?

Graffin says:
They should release Blu-Rays without a DVD copy (and the even more useless Digital Copies on DVD), but I guess not everyone has Blu-Ray players yet.

I don't suppose anyone knows if the Fright Night Blu-Ray is region-free?
(I'm in Australia, but the region B release doesn't seem to be coming out til Feb 2012)
