I finally got the jump rope to work! Previously I had been twirling my wrist, like you would do with a real jump rope, and I couldn't do two jumps in a row. However, if you look at the diagram that appears in the upper left before you start the exercise, it shows the figure jumping up and down and just moving its hand up and down, not twirling it. Once I tried that, I was able to keep the rope moving. Good luck.
Concerning the GG product it would rate a 10 if a small correction of more weight (ballast) was placed at the center of the rope. This increases speed as the rope passes under the feet making it a lower impact cardio work out thats healthier for ones health. Just an observation mind you. TY
