A great camera with Canon one year warranty. I bought at Walmart and for $70 added 2 yr for total of 3yr. Glad I did - had to send lens in to get fixed recently.

It has a one year warranty, but you need to pay for shipping if anything goes wrong with it. I would invest in something else or maybe cover it with a squaretrade warranty.

The Canon camera comes with a standard one year warranty but this will be fulfilled by Canon directly and not Amazon. This means that if anything was to go wrong either with the camera body or that of the lens the item would have to be packaged and shipped (a cost that you will have to pay) to Canon directly.

Details on warranty and where the packages can be mailed to are indicated on the warranty brochure that is within the camera packaging.
