5.0 out of 5 stars A Irreplaceable Classic from a Bygone Era of Cooking
King Kutterking kutter clpbse with #1#3#4 (6004LN)
Another irreplaceable classic kitchen utensil handed down to me from my great grandmother. This utilizes a bygone era in cooking that never stops working, for years to come. No electricity, no batteries, nothing to break or stop running. Ideal for making carrot salad, coleslaw, etc., all manually and perfectly so...

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of money
This purchase was a waste. It doesnt work very well and is more of a hassle than anything. I have also noticed that after only one year it has started to rust. I recommend just buying a food processor and call it a day. It is easier and safer for your family. If anyone wants mine I send it to you for free just pay shipping.

Get this before they stop making them all together.

4.0 out of 5 stars food shredder/slicer, August 31, 2009

I bought this because my salad shooter motor bit the dust and this reminded me of a shredder my mom had when I was a kid (in the 1960's, but hers was old even then). Well made and extremely durable. It does a beautiful job cutting carrots, radishes, cucumbers; cabbage takes a little bit of coaxing to get shredded but it does a good job. I put the rinsed cones & top of the device in my dishwasher and hand wash the base to preserve the suction base.

I love this product. My mom has had one similar to this for years. After ten years of searching, I found it. One of a kind. Great product. Will last through your lifetime.

5.0 out of 5 stars Buy it!, July 20, 2010

I have one of these and it is about 40 years old. I'm from NC and love to make their famous moravian cole slaw. It used to take me hours to grind up cabbage heads for it and once I got this device, I can do the same amount of work in 15 minutes. When you finish, throw it all in the dishwasher and forget it. This is a rugged built appliance. You will only buy one in your lifetime.

$150 is cheap!

I didn't order this from Amazon, I cannot figure out why its on my reviews. I did buy one at a garage sale and it works great. I only paid $8.00 for it. Its used but cleaned up fine in my dish washer

4.0 out of 5 stars Picture is misleading for the King Kutter., October 27, 2009

Received my shipment very fast. Items were not boxed very well but no damaged was sustained. Looks and works fine.

The picture shown for the King Kutter includes 4 cutting cones. They only shipped 3. I don't know if I will get the 4th cone or not but I have contacted the company selling the item. This is very misleading.

King Kutter

Disappointed from that standpoint since I could have bought what I received and 2 more cones for a few bucks more.

This is the worst product I've ever bought. Will probably end up giving it away. It mutilates everything I've tried, especially the grating cone.
