D.B.Reynolds is the award-winning author of the popular Vampires in America series, as well as other paranormal fiction. She lives with her husband of many years in a flammable canyon near Los Angeles, and when she's not writing her own books, she can usually be found reading someone else's.
I’m back home from Dallas, TX, RT 2015. I’ve been through Dallas so many times, but never left the airport before this. I saw a little bit of the city, but mostly stayed in the hotel with all the meetings and, um, parties. But that didn’t stop the weather from making itself known. The thunder and lightning was amazing, the rain pounded so hard on the windows and skylight, that in the cafe we had to shout to be heard over it. Pretty cool, actually.
But while the weather was cool, it was
I’ve been writing writing writing this week, making excellent progress on ALLIANCE. After losing an entire month, I was a bit stressed about my deadline, but the story is flowing now, so I’m feeling good.
And when I’m not writing, I’ve been getting ready for RT … getting my house in order so life as we know it doesn’t collapse while I’m gone. But also putting my books together, gathering bookmarks and stickers, and giveaway stuff. I even have a few vampire rubber duckies that I’ll be b
The DECEPTION bookmarks and stickers are here. The bookmark front is DECEPTION, and the back is all three novellas. The sticker, as always, is the cover. All three images are posted below, and directions for requesting all of my freebies CAN BE FOUND HERE.

I’m auditioning pictures for my Christian Duvall–dark blond hair, deep blue eyes, big guy, with raw strength. This is the first guy I’m thinking about. Can’t see his eyes, but the mood is right and the hair is right. Hmmmmmmm.
Lots of late nights this week, getting back into Christian’s head, and Natalie’s head, too. I’ve already written some crucial scenes out of sequence. They were so vivid in my mind, I had to get them down. And at least one of them gave me a much stronger sense of
First, DECEPTION made it to KOBO this week. Yay! I’ve listed all of the buy links on DECEPTION’s page.
And then … giveaways! Most of the outstanding giveaways went out on Friday; the last few will go out on Tuesday. I’m scheduling a few more guest spots and giveaways, though some of those will wait until after the RT Con in Dallas.
I’ll post here on the blog, and the usual places, once I have everything set up.
Which brings me to the RT Con in Dallas … I’ll be at the Con
So, after a week from hell, I’m baaack! I had a conversation with my editor at the beginning of this past week. I told her that one good thing to come out of this nightmare was that my drug-addled brain was producing some terrific new scenes for future books. She thought that was hilarious. Fortunately, I made enough notes to remember the hallucinations! LOL
An update on promos … there will be more in the future, but most of last week’s promos and giveaways are over. There is still one

La DEETDA READS D.B. Reynolds has upped the excitement and interest with this wildly innovative novel … [and] Did I mention that the sizzling sex factor in this book is reaching the combustible stage? It is a wonder my Kindle didn’t burn up. NOCTURNAL BOOK REVIEWS I think DB has outdone herself this time! I haven’t experienced such sense of urgency, such rush of adrenaline in a long while.
This week brought good
