Kate George

Kate George was born a really long time ago in Sacramento, California. From the age of two until the age of eight she lived on a cattle ranch in Auburn with her mom, dad and two brothers. The ranch was her favorite place to live so she spent the rest of her youth pretending that she was still living in the country. Considering that she lived in Vancouver, British Columbia, that was a pretty big stretch. It was good for her imagination.

Jump forward a bunch of years. Ms. George is now living on a few acres in the backwoods of Vermont. It's not hard to live in the backwoods in Vermont, as Vermont is mostly backwoods. She now has a husband, four kids, three dogs and two cats. There used to be six ponies and twenty eight chickens too, but keeping all those animals fed and watered in the winter proved to be too much for her.

Ms. George started writing again on a dare. The culprit may be regretting that dare now as Ms. George makes her read rough drafts until they come out right.
Ms. George tries to write about things she has some experience with. She used to be a type-setter, paste-up tech and motorcycle safety instructor. She also worked in the housekeeping department of a swank hotel. That's why Bree does those things. Ms. George has also been an actor, answering service operator, assistant to the dean of a medical school, instructional assistant, computer instructor and a number of other unremarkable jobs. She has plenty of fodder for upcoming novels.

The problem is that she really wants to write about being a back-up singer and doesn't know a thing about it... We'll have to wait and see if she let thats stop her or not!
