Absolutely Indispensable!,
By
This review is from: The Legacy of Malthus (Illini Books) (Paperback)
This book is absolutely indispensable to any historian of the 19th and 20th centuries. The socio-economic importance of eugenics and scientific racism is inseparable from the politics, economics, and culture of these two centuries. There are many books on eugenics and scientific racism. Few are so detailed and well-researched as this one. It is unfortunate that this book is not better known than it is. It truly belongs at the top of the list of eugenics and scientific racism books. You simply cannot understand the Holocaust, WWII, or the end of the 19th, and beginning of the 20th Centuries without understanding the contents of this book.
