"My Life For Her: will keep the reader spellbound, glued to the printed page and wanting the author to bring back Rob, Tex and Beth Anne to see what will happen next."
Endorsement by Fran Lewis- writer/ author of- Memories Are Precious and several published stories.
"I thoroughly enjoyed My Life, For Her by Robert J. Saniscalchi. As his first fiction thriller, Saniscalchi is showing his creative abilities in action-packed suspense that strikes where it most hurts--in the family. An author to watch in the future. Highly recommended..."

From the Author
My Life For Her is the sequel to my first book Bullets and Bandages. While writing this novel, I wanted to include something that is relevant in today's world. I also wanted to bring action and adventure into play. I think I have accomplished both.
What would I do? How far would I go to save the one I love? I found myself thinking about that often while I pieced together this story.

Rob Marrino is happy to be back home from Vietnam. Although it doesn't actually say, there are references to symptoms that he had and sometimes still is suffering from PTSD. So enjoying family, coaching baseball with his son on the team is just fine. He had become a cop in Pikesville, but there was not much happening in the area, and that was good too!
Until one day he found himself in the midst of a high-speed pursuit. A black sports sedan zoomed by with state police closely behind. Instantly calling it in, Rob joined the pursuit. A major bust for drugs was the result, but one brother of a top South American kingpin of a major drug cartel in Columbia was killed. Another brother was jailed.
And Rob Marrino had made the kill...
And he would be the one to pay...
Rob and Robby were due at the game. Beth Ann had ensured her son that she would get off work and come straight to the ballpark. But she never showed up. Like the wind, she was gone and there was little trace of what had happened!
The FBI had become involved because of the drugs case and fortunately, one of the agents personally took an interest in Beth Ann's disappearance, especially when they discovered that Beth Ann had been flown out of the country and had been seen being imprisoned at the cartel's "hidden" site.Read more ›
The book is all that you could ask for in any adventure tale; it is exciting, suspenseful, and above all--moving. This is a story that comes at you like a bullet with your name on it! A book you will not soon forget!
"Calm down Rob," Roy replied, "I'm sure there must be a reasonable explanation for all this worry. She must have broken down on some back road."...
Rob walked over to his car. "Roy, I don't know where the hell she is! It's not like her at all, missed the game and no calls. Did she just disappear or decide to leave us? I don't understand why she would do that. It just doesn't make any sense."...
They walked around checking for her car. It wasn't long before they found it. Rob opened the door with his set of keys, the engine started with no problem. Why was it still in the parking lot - it didn't make sense. The panic grew inside him; his hands were trembling as they checked around the whole hospital perimeter. It was getting late and they still found no sign at all of Beth Anne.'
Rob Marrino is a happily married man with a wonderful wife, Beth Anne, and two beautiful children. After serving as a field medic in Viet Nam, and with the encouragement of Beth Anne's uncle Roy, Rob joined the police force in their home town of Pikeville. Pikeville was the perfect place to live, raise a family and serve on the police force. It was small, quiet and virtually crime free. Then all hell broke out when Rob was cruising in his restored Mustang and was passed by a vehicle being chased by the a state trooper. As Rob joined in the chase and knew things were kicking up a notch when he saw the gun being fired out the window at the trooper's car.
What turned out to be one of the biggest drug busts in the small town's history also turned out to be one of the biggest nightmares in Rob's history.Read more ›
Vietnam veteran turned cop, Rob Marino, has no idea what is headed his way. He had no way of knowing that the man he killed in a high speed chase was the brother of a top South American Drug Lord. He may not have been the only one in the chase but it was his gun that made the kill and to the brother of the dead man that is all that mattered.
Father and son were at a little league game, his wife was supposed to come when she got off work. She never showed. Somehow she just disappeared. An FBI agent who had taken a personal interest in the activities of this cartel gives Rob the information he needs to find her.
This is where the plot gets interesting indeed, Rob gets a buddy that served with him in `Nam and together they set out to rescue his wife. This is a great read. The action is swift and creative. A must read for all the action fans. Like me you will casting the book with your favorite action stars, hoping for a movie version.
