I recently aquired one of these keyboards. I know absolutly nothing about keyboards or even know how to play one. It is so easy to use and once you get used to it, it actually sounds like you know what you are doing. I have always wanted to play a little music and I will probably take some lessons to actually learn how to play it corectly. I am 51 and I am excited. I would venture to say that if you are just beginning as I am you will find this keyboard fun to play. This keyboard lifts u up and right from the first key touch you can play one of the 100 songs in the memory bank. Even if it never amounts to anything it's fun to pass time away. Have fun
