Her books have covered such varied topics as the women's tennis tour, the Rocky Mountain states, adventurous women, the music of New Orleans and real estate. An officer of the New York Cycle Club, her hobbies include cycling and skiing. She is a member of the Authors Guild and the National Book Critics Circle, She is a native of Brooklyn who now lives in Manhattan.
